Filing intent to cure
Homeowners
The homeowner must file an Intent to Cure in the Public Trustee’s Office at least 15 days prior to the sale date. If the Notice of Intent to Cure is filed timely, the homeowner has until 12:00 noon the day before the sale to bring the payments current by paying the amount due to the Public Trustee in Certified Funds.
Lienholders
The rules are different for lienholders. If you have questions about lienholder rights please contact us.
Filing an Intent to Redeem?
Homeowners
Under current foreclosure law, homeowners no longer have the right to redeem. However, if a foreclosure was started in 2007 (or before) the homeowner does have a 75 day redemption period. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
