Carey and his wife Kay moved to Colorado Springs in 1990 with the Air Force. They felt that Colorado Springs was a great place to raise a family so they made the Springs their home.

After a successful career as a social worker for troubled teens Carey bought his first rental property and fell in love with the real estate industry. Carey decided to bring his experience from the counseling arena to the business of Real Estate.
